The capital city of France consits of 20 departments , each of which is divided into four sections. These parts of the city are connected by the Metro which was founded in 1900.
When in Paris it is wise to use the Metro; it is fast, dependable and cheap.

In Europe Paris is one of the largest centers for the Fine Arts. The impressionistic painting came to life in this city. Some of the prominent painters of this genre were Claude Monet, Paul Cezanne and Gustave Renoir.
The most prominent Museum of Art is, of course, the Louvre , in the center of the city. The most famous picture in the Louvre is the Mona Lisa – she can only be seen behind a thick layer of glass.

How do we get to Paris?
Depending on where in Germany you reside, by bus or automobile it will take you from two to ten hours to get there. Going by train can be a good choice,and you can use air travel.
